The fifth pocket

Now that I can stand to wear jeans again, I've become a fifth pocket user. Historically used as a pocket for a chain watch, this great conversation piece can add flair to anyone's apparel. Being one who hates to have "junk in the trunk"...cash or plastic, and other carry-on condiments (gum, chap stick) are normally encased there in. Sometimes, I even carry my thoughts in there......

A week with mom

What a great week....my mom came to visit!! She was here for her birthday, which was spent sneaking around planning a get together for her; a great chance for her to meet some of my friends. This picture was taken in Charleston...yeah, we're both hugging the tree. She made sure that I was well fed with homemade cookies, pumpkin roll...marathon training has no meaning to this woman!!

Phillies 5, Braves 2

I went to "The Ted" for a great game...at least, on my end. From Howard's 37th home run, to much anticipated heckling of Pat Burrell (mostly from Phillies fans), felt right like a game in Philly. More pics on Flickr page.
