A wedding and a murder

Congratulations to Ms. Tracy Yoder and Mr. Tommy Chettenden!!! They were married this weekend, which meant a road trip to Northern Virginia for Joe!! Yeah, I could say FINALLY like the rest of the family, but...well, I'm not married yet. Tracy has had an incredible year...being a member of the 114th graduating class of Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, to being married...the girl's got it going on!! It was awesome to see that she was also given away by Foxmill E431!!! A good daytime wedding...so....

What are the odds that my favourite band would be playing in the same town on the same day?? YEEEAHH!!! The Counting Crows were at the Nissan Pavillion that eve. It's been two years since I've seen them last...well worth the wait. They used more visual media, and played mostly "old stuff"...mainly from Recovering and August. Ended with "A Murder of One".....I was feathered. A huge praise to them for continuing their Community Outreach....it's been ten years strong now.....Charlie and Adam definitely made everyone aware of the Outreach's prescence.

Phillies 7, Reds 9

Citizens Bank Park

This was my first trip to see the Phillies play in about 12 years, and Dad's first time since the 70's. From Ryan Howard's 40th home run of the season, to J.Roll hitting one from both sides of the plate, what a game; even though they lost. I bet it's a great atmosphere in October...see you then.
