What can I learn from Ruth?

I once asked this question about this O.T. book. The first time I read it, I was amazed by Boaz's character....found in chapter three, verse eighteen.
Of course, the first study was done independently....but this time, I'm listening to Mark Driscoll.
Yo, this guy just brings...what a teacher!!! He uses the first half-hour of the message to explain just the first six verses...spiritual-knowledge overload!!! Praise God for Podcasts....

Book Review numero dos

This book is kinda like getting hit in the funny bone. You know, it hurts....but it feels good at the same time (hence the laughter). Thoughtfully written....drowning with Scripture; many different versions, too; with a few Q and Eh's (he's Canadian..gotta love it). BruxyCavey, (pronounced like Oopsy Daisy..haha) did an exceptional job. Reading this reveal MANY things about Jesus I had no thoughts about before. From a different significance of His first miracle, to the day religion died. Read it, and then read it again.

I've been doing the "Jesus thing" for about two years now...it's awesome to know that I still want it. But, it also tells me that it's not just about me. I know that it is a love, a desire, a longing, an understanding, a relationship from Him that keeps His passion close to me. I know if it were all just about me, I would've given up a long time ago. I read Psalm 139 recently and it's where I got the thoughts for this post....thank you Jesus.

Turn and face the strange...

I'm waiting for the initial shock to be gone. My mom moved out today...Reality Is Here. This might take awhile.
