Reflection

Isaiah 65:17-Behold, I will create news heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. (NIV)

I've been thinking about the past lately, the life that was Joe before I accepted Jesus. It just so happens that I flipped my Bible open to this verse...imagine that. I didn't know any better: I wasn't really all that bad; I did what most kids/teenage/twenty somethings do. I've come to a point where I'm tired of struggling with the past...and I'm letting it die, WITHOUT ME!!!
So many things present, so many more things future to find joy in through a life with Christ. So much joy, so much forgiveness, nothing to be done. It's there...just take it.
